2016 WEIBER BURGUNDER LOHRER BERG - SCHWEINHARDT (13.5%)
One sip and we are immediately pleased with the lively grapefruit, citrus and lemon notes that coat our palate. The medium body reminds us of an orange creamsicle that has a hint of sweetness with some tartness to balance. Grapefruit and citrus rind components are also present. The structured and lingering finish of unsweetened grapefruit juice leaves us wanting more. There are subtle white pepper and gin botanical elements reminiscent of juniper and coriander.
